THRIVE
Helping Communities Thrive, Not Just Survive

WHY ACCESS ISN'T ENOUGH.
Our city's community centers have a singular objectives: help families get through the day.
Los Angeles has more than 30 community centers offering food support, youth programs, and essential services.
The issue isn’t access; it’s that these programs are underfunded and designed to help families get through the day, not grow into their full potential.
Young people receive the basics, but not the structure, mentorship, or confidence-building that develops leadership, discipline, and long-term opportunity.
Low income communities lack adequate fields, gyms, and resources for recreational leagues.
Shortage of programs or volunteers. Pay-to-play models are now the norm.
ABOUT.
Thrive LA is a community program created by Lucky Athletes—a premium strength and conditioning facility built on structure, accountability, and community. We bring that same philosophy into family centers serving low-income neighborhoods to create real pathways for youth and their families.
Mission
We believe everything starts with health. When people build strength in their bodies, they build it in every part of their lives.
Our mission is to use health and fitness as the foundation, then open doors to mentorship, career pathways, and opportunities that many young people have never had access to or imagined possible.
Vision
Our vision is to transform community centers into hubs of growth and possibility. These spaces should inspire people to build resilience, develop new skills, and envision futures beyond their current circumstances.
Community centers shouldn't just meet immediate needs; they should empower people to grow, advance, and create lasting opportunities for their families and communities.
